Nostril

Nostril is a US-based designer who builds keyboards through his studio, Synth Labs. He came to keycaps the way a lot of the best designs do: on his own keyboard journey, he needed something that didn't exist yet.

His boards were chasing a particular look, and the keycaps to match simply weren't out there, so he drew his own. SLK is the result: a flat, super low-profile MX set that isn't built around any one layout, with an aesthetic all its own. We liked where the project was going and reached out to help make it real.

Nostril treats keycaps the way he treats his keyboards: as a design problem worth obsessing over. He shares the community spirit that drives us, so SLK never felt like a transaction. It was a collaboration built on a passion we have in common.
